ABOUT ME
Elizabeth Lee, RH (AHG) is a clinical herbalist and founder of Vitae Herbal, a thriving herbal practice in Los Angeles with an on-site herbal compounding facility and fully integrated (herbal, fruit, heirloom vegetable, & floral) gardens, giving visitors a comprehensive educational experience. Elizabeth sees clients both in-person and remotely.
A native of Harrison, Ohio, Elizabeth spent much of her childhood exploring the forest by the Whitewater River where she developed a deep and personal relationship with plants and nature.
Elizabeth moved to Los Angeles, CA where she met her husband and later became the mother of three children. Becoming a mother brought Elizabeth back to her roots and a desire to incorporate the healing power of plants into her families daily life. Elizabeth wanted to gain more knowledge about using plants medicinally and this relationship with plants only deepened after completing Rosemary Gladstar’s herbalism course. Friends and family began seeking out her knowledge and she realized a calling to become a clinical practitioner.
After spending many years working with elderly populations in Continuing Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities, Elizabeth decided to expand upon her experience in health care management by graduating from the Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine as a Clinical Herbal Practitioner. She completed her herbal mentorship and clinical practicum with Thomas Easley and Mel Kasting and is a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild.
Elizabeth believes that each person has the capacity to heal. The power of plants along with clinical nutrition, supplements, exercise, connection to nature, community, and spirit assist you in your personal journey of discovering your own path to better health.
